Scientists With Nothing Better to Do Created a Bubble That Lasted 465 Days Before Popping!!!

SAccording to APS Physics, the team studied a type of bubble known as a “gas marble.” Previous research has shown that plastic beads packed on the bubble’s shell can make it strong enough to be held in a hand or rolled along a surface — but this was the first time scientists studied the bubbles’ lifespan.

“Octopuses are from space. I know, that sounds like the opening line of a cheesy science fiction movie from the black and white days of Hollywood. But it’s actually the main part of the argument behind a research paper published in an actual peer-reviewed journal. The paper was published in the journal Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology. Titled Cause of the Cambrian Explosion – Terrestrial or Cosmic?, the paper digs deep into the origin of life on Earth.

As a result, it posits that life began thanks to a rain of retroviruses, which literally fell from space. Those retroviruses then added new DNA sequences to terrestrial genomes, which the paper says further drove mutagenic change.

The Bloomberg Article further states:

“The platform is now offering its members the chance to add it to their profiles, while online resource Dictionary.com has also said it will be adding “Dyslexic Thinking” as an official term.

Sir Richard told the PA news agency people with dyslexia think “creatively and more expansively”, and described the new initiative as a “breakthrough” in acknowledging the positives of being dyslexic in the workplace.

The Virgin boss added that he hoped companies will be actively seeking out dyslexic thinkers in the coming years.”

The new recommendation comes from a process called the decadal survey, which is led by the National Academy of Sciences and offers NASA guidance for prioritizing science goals. That committee’s new report, published Tuesday (April 19), highlighted a mission concept called the Uranus Orbiter and Probe (UOP) for a multi-year orbital tour during which it should jettison an atmospheric probe. The committee called Uranus “one of the most intriguing bodies in the solar system” and targeted launch opportunities in the early 2030s for a 12- to 13-year cruise out to begin observations.

A recent study claims to have found evidence for mushroom-like life forms on the surface of Mars. As it happens, these particular features are well known and were discovered by cameras aboard NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity, shortly after it landed in 2004.
